A privilege to report the news and fight injustice

It was one of those news stories when a reporter wishes he was not there. I was in Wellington in December 1971 as correspondent for the Dubbo Daily Liberal, and with my notebook and Instamatic camera had to cover the death of a woman in a farm house fire.
