NBN Co chief information officer with Clarie Rawlins has stepped down from role. It is understood that she is set to take up a position at information technology group Oracle.
NBN CO chief operating officer Ralph Steffens announced the departure of Ms Rawlins in an internal memo.
“It is with regret that I announce that Claire Rawlins, chief information officer, has decided to leave NBN Co after nearly three years of leading the Information Technology team,” he said.
“Claire has spearheaded the design, build and implementation of our end-to-end business processes, systems, applications and information technology architectures that have enabled NBN Co to operate.”
“Under Claire’s leadership, the IT team has achieved an impressive delivery record in the industry.”
Ms Rawlins will be replaced in the interim by NBN Co general manager business support systems David Elmendorf.
“David will act in the role in the interim, while we commence a search for a replacement,” Mr Steffens said in the memo.
NBN Co appointed Ms Rawlins, an ex-BT executive and a consultant with AAPT, as the CIO in November 2009.
Ms Rawlins, was the winner of the Oracle Excellence Award for CIO of the Year, Asia Pacific for 2012
NBN Co has implemented a complete portfolio of Oracle applications that run the company, from enterprise resource planning solutions to billing and revenue management .
